Inventors can get help developing to marketing their inventions. But unfortunately there are scams out there. Michael King and co-host Rita Crompton discuss “How Inventors Can Avoid the Bad Guys” with inventors Rich Vigil (Reflection Bulb) and Suzanne Cano (LunaLite), and President of Invent New England, George Peters.

Rich Vigil has been married for 22 years with 4 children, plus have been foster parents of 9 years with 20 infants having blessed their home. The Vigil family has a real passion for travel and creating memories. Reflection Bulb is a product of that passion, wanting to finding a way to display some of their best trips and memories through pictures and mementos.

Suzanne Cano specialized in dental imaging and for nearly three decades was responsible for sales in various geographical locations, built teams of customer/sales reps, and developed supplemental training content. Having experience in dental imaging and business, Suzanne invented and patented a unique imaging device for exclusive use in the dental and veterinary fields.

George Peters is the President of Invent New England, one of the oldest inventor organizations in the country devoted to education and resources for independent inventors. George’s most successful venture is co-creating KettlePizza, winner of the NHS’ Best New Product Award and showcased at The White House as one of the country’s best ‘Made in America’ products.

Rita Crompton, known as “The Inventor Lady,” is an industry expert with decades of experience helping innovators develop their ideas into sellable products. Her knowledge and expertise covers all aspects of the invention process – patents and trademarks, engineering and manufacturing, crowdfunding, marketing and selling, and licensing. Ms. Crompton has helped inventors bring to market everything from full size functioning tractors to baby products – there’s a reason she’s called “The Inventor Lady.”

Michael King, known as “the Cajun Contractor,” has been in the home improvement and home construction industry for nearly three decades, first by working for a home improvement company and then becoming a fully licensed general contractor owning and managing his own home improvement company. For more than a decade, however, his knowledge and expertise as a general contractor have been put to use by hosting the nationally syndicated television and radio program HomeTalkUSA.
